We can provide access to previously published material that is not yet available on our website.  In certain circumstances, we can also provide access to case file documents under our Access to case file documents policy .

We cannot undertake general research for you.

Please provide as much information as possible about the document(s) or case file you need.

Provide the details of the document

Provide as much information as you can about the document or case – for example:

  • MNC (eg. [2023] FWC 1234)
  • ID number (eg. for Awards – MA00001; for Enterprise
  • Agreements – AG 123456 or AE123456; for older documents, the prefix may be AP or AM; for prints – PR123456) 
  • document name 
  • case matter number (eg. B2023/123; AG2023/1234) 
  • name of parties.

How soon do you need the documents

If your request is urgent or you have a deadline, please provide details (for example, tell us if you need the documents for a hearing scheduled for a particular date).

Please note that processing times vary.  While we can process some requests within 1-2 working days, it can take up to 2 weeks.  We will contact you if your request is likely to take more than 2 weeks to process.
