The government of the organisation is vested in the Board of Directors and the Executive Council. The Board of Directors consists of the Office Bearers, the Secretary and 6 members of the Executive Council. The Executive Council consists of 23 members.
Elections for offices are conducted every 1, 3 and 4 years. The organisation currently holds an exemption from having its elections conducted by the Australian Electoral Commission.
